Keeping the Road to Kilimanjaro Clean: Machame Takes Action

With the initiative of Kaliwa Lodge and Chameleon Reisen, we have started a clean-up project along the Machame road leading up to Mount Kilimanjaro. Together with the local community, the aim is to collect waste, raise awareness about proper garbage disposal, and help keep the area clean for both residents and visitors. By placing collection points and working with schools and local partners, we hope to create a lasting impact and protect the natural beauty of Machame and the Kilimanjaro region.
